Meet Our Groomers
David | Director of Grooming
My name is David, and I’ve been lucky enough to work with animals for most of my life! From light vet tech work, to managing a kennel, and giving dogs their haircuts, there isn’t much that I haven’t seen! I’ve been taking care of reception here at Sled and Breakfast for five months now, and I’ve had a blast! Our clients, their pups, and this amazing team I work with have made my time here so memorable, I couldn’t ask for a better career!
I am a certified dog groomer with twelve years of experience and am familiar with most breed standard haircuts. I took a break from grooming, but being here has reignited my passion for making dogs look and feel their best!
My wife and I have two dogs named Dash and Henry, and we recently welcomed our son James to the family. We are avid board gamers, and enjoy a good weekend of grilling and relaxing!
Amanda | Groomer
Hi! My name is Amanda!
I’ve been working with dogs my entire professional life in many different capacities, and have officially been grooming for over twenty years now. I am from New York State originally and have been able to move all over the country grooming dogs!
I love being able to work with different dogs every day, and I enjoy building relationships with my fluffy clients. My clients are some of my best friends.
When I’m not grooming, you can probably find me with my cat, Allegra, watching a horror movie or listening to one of my (too many) vinyls.
Sam | Groomer
My name is Sam and I’ve always had a crazy obsession with dogs. My very first job was brushing/bathing at a local grooming salon. After I graduated college with my Associates in Business Degree, I decided grooming was my passion. I’ve been grooming for about 15 years now and still love it!
I have certifications in skin and coat, as well as being certified in animal CPR. I love going to seminars to learn all of the up to date trends and to brush up on my skills. My favorite part of grooming is learning a dog’s personality and the creativity of it all. Whether it’s a teddy bear face, a crazy poodle look, painting a dog’s nails, or even doing a Mohawk, I’ve done it all. My favorite types of dogs to groom are Doodles, Border Collies, Pomeranians, and Poodles.
Outside of work, you’ll either find me doing DIY projects or trying new restaurants with my husband. We have two wonderful dogs of our own named Dax(Doodle) and Cas(Pit) that are our children.
