Meet Our Groomers
David | Director of Grooming
My name is David, and I’ve been lucky enough to work with animals for most of my life! From light vet tech work, to managing a kennel, and giving dogs their haircuts, there isn’t much that I haven’t seen! I’ve been taking care of reception here at Sled and Breakfast for five months now, and I’ve had a blast! Our clients, their pups, and this amazing team I work with have made my time here so memorable, I couldn’t ask for a better career!
I am a certified dog groomer with twelve years of experience and am familiar with most breed standard haircuts. I took a break from grooming, but being here has reignited my passion for making dogs look and feel their best!
My wife and I have two dogs named Dash and Henry, and we recently welcomed our son James to the family. We are avid board gamers, and enjoy a good weekend of grilling and relaxing!
Sophia | Bather/Grooming Apprentice
Hello, I’m Sophia! I’m from St Louis and I have a pitbull named Auggie. Growing up, I always wanted to be a vet tech, but when I was introduced to grooming about two years ago, I knew it was for me. I’ve always loved dogs and my love for them grows every day. I worked with other stylists, and I have learned how to do all kinds of styles and cuts even when I was just bathing.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time outside and going for walks. Sometimes I like to do things outside of my comfort zone even though it can take a lot out of me. I’m looking forward to seeing what is in store for me here at Sled & Breakfast and I can’t wait to get to know you and your pup!
